In partnership with the Vancouver Shroud Association and the Archdiocese of Ottawa, the "Man of the Shroud" exhibit at St. Isidore Church will give you reason to pause. Is this mysterious figure the one whom Christians worship? The first exhibition took place in the Church of the Good Shepherd in White Rock, BC, in March of 2004. The objectives of the association have always been to inform people about the Shroud of Turin and to encourage devotion to the Man whom it represents. An exhibit of this nature can be a tangible way of helping parishioners deepen their faith, inspire positive discussion and camaraderie. As a scholastic exhibit, each of the 30 display panels reveal something new about this mystery, bringing Scripture to life. There is no greater visual tool for adults and students alike, to explore the ordeal of the crucifixion or the wonder of the Resurrection.

Est-ce la figure mystérieuse bien celle que les chrétiens adorent? La première exposition de ce suaire a eu lieu à l’église Good Shepherd à White Rock en C.-B. en mars 2004. Le but de l’Association a toujours été d’informer le monde au sujet du Suaire de Turin et d’encourager la dévotion à l’Homme que ceci représente. Une telle exposition peut être une façon tangible pour les paroissiens d’approfondir leur foi et inspirer la discussion et la camaraderie. En tant d’exposition scolastique, chacun des 30 panneaux de l’expositions démontre quelque chose de nouveau au sujet de ce mystère ce qui apporte de la vie aux écritures saintes. Il n’existe aucun autre outil visuel comparable autant pour les adultes que pour les étudiants afin d’explorer le supplice de la crucifixion et la merveille de la résurrection.
